Getting to BCIT

BuddyCamp Vancouver 2012 is being held at BCIT Burnaby Campus (same location as WordCamp Vancouver being held the day earlier). Below is a map of the location with driving directions from Downtown Vancouver, as well as public transit directions from Waterfront station. Please take a look at the Translink or Google Maps website for directions from your departure location.

Skytrain Expo Line towards King George.
1. Get off at Patterson Station.
2. Take bus #125 (BCIT) Northbound or #129 (Edmonds Station) Northbound.
3. If taking #125, get off at Willingdon Ave At Goard Way. If taking #129, get off at Gilmore Way at Sanderson Way.
4. Find Us at BCIT

BuddyCamp Vancouver 2012 day 1, Oct. 14th will be held in the SW5 building on the BCIT campus. See map below for building location.

Parking

Parking is available in large quantities at BCIT Burnaby Campus, starting at $4.50 for the entire day. It is recommended to park in Parking Lots P4, P6, and P9 (highlighted above in blue), as they are closest to the SW5 Building. More information available here.

Hack Day
Hack Day on Oct. 15th will be held in Town Square C and D which are within SE-2, the building called the Great Hall, next to the main cafeteria. There will be a number of student volunteers within the vicinity helping with directions. There will also be a lot of regular students around you can ask if you get lost (just ask them for directions to the main cafeteria or Great Hall) or call Cyri at 604-783-8601.
